$10,000.00 in Cash?
Report it on the new IRS Form 8300   It happens.  Not often but it does.  Most generally when a student pays their entire tuition in cash.  This means it has to be reported to the IRS. Pass this along to your Student Finance Office or the Registrars’ office.  On most campuses this is who completes the form.  I recommend, though, that any form sent to the IRS be handled by your Tax Department.   Here’s the link to the new form to report it with the revision date of Nov, 2011.
